Loco for Loki

Hello. I got sidetracked on Friday and instead of finishing up one thing that I started earlier that week, I went off and started working on another. I finally finished that other something because it involved cleaning up the original scan and then coloring it in and FireAlpaca derped on me twice yesterday so I got frustrated and left it for today so yeah.

Uh-huh. You've been Loki'd again. I should draw some other stuff that I also have floating in my head but he is one of the things that floats in my head the most so that's what I end up working on. I need to give somebody else my love, I've been neglecting characters like crazy and it's all his fault. Well, I'll be back when I finish something else but maybe not Friday. Whatever. See ya.

If Avengers were normal people

Ok, I'm back with two things: one is my doodle from last night that I talked about.

I went for a driving test yesterday because my mom wants me to get my license already and I ended up waiting for like 2 hours in the cold and when I finally got in the car, I hit a cone while parking straight-in, not to mention I suck at backing up. So while listening to some music on my mom's laptop to cheer myself up, I decided I wanted to draw and this popped up. I was gonna draw Steve but I was failing at that so only his dialogue stayed. My day ended on a good note, though, when my dad fixed my cracked phone screen. So this next doodle is in honor of that:

I assume his favorite Avenger is Iron Man because Iron Man 3 was the only one we saw in theaters (and the only Iron Man I've seen in full). Yes, I snuck a tiny modern-day Loki in the background because I can and the picture may have been otherwise stupid without him. Maybe I'll see you again soon.

It's Cuddle Weather

I doodled this quickly yesterday but I saved it for today and I didn't get around to drawing today (I'm doodling something on paper now inspired a bit by what happened to me today) so here it is:

I drew Mike and Sandra getting cozy while trying to stay warm because it happens to be cold here and I thought of drawing something with a winter theme back last fall so golden opportunity I guess. I'll come back soon as I finish drawing something else.

It's Past 10, Do You Know Where Your Bro Is?

Hello and I am so sorry, I finished drawing something Friday but I finished it on the late side and I had people bothering me that I was spending too much time on my computer so I got off with plans on posting it on Saturday and I completely forgot so here it is :

It took me a whole week to do this one, mostly because I wanted to get other stuff done too and I had more motivation to finish Loki than I did anyone else (even Bucky). Redbubble is having a geek week special and I just searched to see if I fall under it, I apparently don't but doesn't mean you can't check me out anyway, I now have an X-Men and Friends... and Enemies collection there if you're interested. I should be more careful with posting on here from my phone because I had to edit two posts that the pictures were huge and my font was different. It's convenient but makes my blog look like a derp afterwards. See you around (if I remember).

Hello Humpday (actually goodbye, it's nighttime)

I'm just gonna get this over with. I have been drawing all week but I'm still working on one project and everything else I've managed to finish during that time is on my instagram, tumblr, and on redbubble. First, Monday's:

I was going to do Tom Hiddleston pop art, thought it would be easier if I made him a brush and then got frustrated with the concept so I played with the few custom brushes I made and because it's so pretty, I put it everywhere. It is even my wallpaper on my computer. And then there's this:

I haven't drawn this trio in a while so this is a good way of dipping my feet back in there - draw them trying to take a nice picture and a bit of jealousy nearly ruining it. Okay, it is late here so bye, hope to be back soon.

Fun Friday with a dash of the Force

It's Friday, yay! So after this Tuesday, I decided that I should probably draw some stuff that isn't one of the Avengers, or Loki, or Tom Hiddleston and I do like Star Wars so that's been on the brain as well (mostly because of my sister's crazy obsessing over it) but first I had to give my OC's a little love:

Just a simple little floating chibi heads sketch, though, but this was to remind myself that I generally create my own characters. And now for my Star Wars doodle:

I sketched the heroic trio and the big bad copycat Vader that is Kylo Ren (I should be holding a grudge against Kylo Ren but somehow I can't). The nice thing about drawing differing sets of characters in the same style is you can borrow colors from other characters, e.g. I used Loki's skin tone for Kylo Ren, which means I don't play too much with color and have a hard time finding the right one. Anybody seen the bad lip reading versions of the original trilogy? Or the Tonight Show acapella medley? Or bad lip reading's Redneck Avengers? Well, have a good weekend, don't let the crybaby Sith... ehh, who am I kidding? Have fun with the whole crew, including Mr. Emo.

Good acting is required to pull this off

Hello. It feels like I haven't drawn digitally in a while but I remedied that today by working on this:

It's becoming a thing where I find just about any excuse to draw either Tom or Loki or both and I'm gonna have to do something about it soon but I'm enjoying every minute of it so not yet. Yeah, this is basically pointing out the stark differences between Tom Hiddleston and Loki and also a little bit of Chris Hemsworth contrasted by his alter ego Thor (or is it the other way around?) in that Tom loves just about everybody and isn't afraid to show it while Loki is the complete opposite in that regard. Chris, even though he was the one that said they love one another, is a little more shy about making little hearts with his hands while Thor gets rather touchy-feely with Loki. Basically you know when Thor is mad with Loki because he gets all up on him like he's gonna kiss him, which is weird. I also drew a little something earlier this week in the form of cartoon Chris Evans in Loki's outfit. What, you don't believe me?

Kind of a long story but my mom likes Chris Evans just about as much as I like Tom Hiddleston and she made a comment about him looking good in every suit (as in superhero suits) and I had to come back with we haven't seen him in the Iron Man suit or Loki's. Obviously I opted for drawing Loki's because why not? Besides, Tom did wear Chris's suit, didn't he?

First words (not as in baby)

My first doodle of the year is also the first sentence I spoke this year ( I actually said where's the ball first but that doesn't count because I only turned on the tv to see the countdown and ball drop but didn't see any ball). I said this because as soon as the countdown was over, they felt the need to close up on a kissing couple. This isn't the only thing I've drawn today but I still want to fix up the details on that one so toodles and at least we're back to an even number.
